Fuel control with Wialon

Companies that have large fleets inevitably face fuel management issues. And there is a sound reason for that: fuel costs often form a considerable part of total fleet expenses. In this case satellite monitoring system for fuel control is the ultimate solution for optimization of the expenditure account.

Fuel management system is based on data available from onboard computer or after-market fuel level sensors, installed in the fuel tank of a vehicle. Data transferred to tracking system allows to detect fuel thefts or unreasonably large fuel burn, thus helping to find ways to save 15% or more on fuel costs and increase fleet efficiency by 30% or more. According to statistics, Wialon satellite fleet tracking system implementation for fuel control pays for itself within 3-4 months..

Wialon fuel consumption analysis

By means of intelligent tools Wialon system for fuel management allows the operating dispatcher to look through the history of fuel level variations in the vehicle tank for a specified period, presented as a graph.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”390″ img_size=”full” css=”.vc_custom_1624469487726{margin-bottom: 10px !important;}”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1572871770908{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]

Tacho View: operating hours analysis

Tacho View is a native tool of Wialon tachograph analysis software created for your convenience. The application utilizes a specific algorithm to count hours of operation based on the legislative peculiarities of the region concerned.

Tacho View application is developed to analyze data, acquired from tachograph files. Tachograph analysis is based on such criteria as driving, work, availability and rest. Driver activity data is visually presented as a “timeline”, allowing to mark the necessary periods easier.

Tacho View offers three report types for crew activity presented in a list-form.

“Driver activity”

The contents of this report are presented in tabular format. By choosing the necessary date a user can see detailed driver activity over a specified period.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”391″ img_size=”full” css=”.vc_custom_1624469506566{margin-bottom: 10px !important;}”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1572873490927{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]

“Activity chart”

In this case the specified time period is divided into days, where the relevant types of driver activity are marked by color indicators.

“Infringement”

By choosing this type of report you get a table with such parameters as infringement date and start time, infringement type, brief description and seriousness.

All the entries can be printed or exported to Excel-file.

Hours-of-Service application

Hours of Service application was developed by our partner Assured Tracking Inc. for US and Canada markets and has now become app module for Wialon. It allows the driver to keep an eye on the remaining on-duty and driving time and generate individual electronic logs on driver’s smartphone for roadside inspections. The app connects field and office allowing the dispatcher to monitor current driver status and react promptly to minimize violations and improve CSA scores.

Wialon tachograph analysis software allows to get comprehensive information on driver activity and ensure compliance with the mandates rules. These tools allow to detect possible rule violations, thus helping to improve crew safety and minimize penalties imposed on drivers and companies for violating the rules.
